Terms of Service

Wave Atlas is an AI-powered podcast intelligence platform that lets you follow podcasts via RSS, generate AI transcripts, summaries, and audio digests, and chat with an AI about episode content.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.

You may use Wave Atlas for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute AI-generated content (transcripts, summaries, digests) at scale or for commercial purposes.
• Resell or sublicense access to Wave Atlas or its AI outputs.
• Use the service to process content you do not have the right to access.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, quotas, or access controls.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Wave Atlas fetches and processes publicly available podcast RSS feeds. Transcription and summarization of publicly distributed podcast audio is provided for your personal use only. AI-generated summaries are transformative works intended for informational purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable copyright law in your jurisdiction. Wave Atlas does not claim ownership over any transcripts or summaries derived from third-party podcast content.

Transcripts, summaries, key takeaways, topic tags, and audio digests are generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. They are provided for convenience only and should not be relied upon as factual, legal, medical, or professional advice.

Power plan users may connect their own API keys from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or ElevenLabs. By doing so:

• You are responsible for compliance with those providers' terms of service and usage policies.
• Costs for API usage are billed directly to you by the provider — Wave Atlas does not mark up or intermediate BYOK provider charges.
• You authorise Wave Atlas to store your API key encrypted at rest and to transmit it to the provider on your behalf when you trigger AI actions.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from Profile Settings; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law.
• One-time AI credit pack purchases are non-refundable.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

You may delete your account at any time from Profile Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes all personal data associated with your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or repeatedly circumvent usage limits, with or without notice depending on severity.

Wave Atlas is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to errors in AI-generated content, data loss, or service interruptions.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Austria.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify active users of material changes by email.
